1. Access BIOS/UEFI

Restart your computer.

Enter BIOS/UEFI:
- While booting, press the appropriate key (depends on your manufacturer):
- Dell: F2 or F12
- HP: Esc or F10
- Lenovo: F1 or F2
- ASUS: F2 or Del
- Acer: F2 or Del
- MSI: Del
- Gigabyte: Del
- Samsung: F2
- Sony VAIO: Assist button (some models)
- While booting, press the appropriate key (depends on your manufacturer):

If your system boots too quickly, try:
- Hold Shift while clicking Restart in Windows → Go to Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → UEFI Firmware Settings → Restart.
2. Enable Virtualization
- Once in BIOS/UEFI, navigate to:
- Intel CPUs: Look for Intel VT-x, Intel Virtualization Technology, or VT-d.
- AMD CPUs: Look for AMD-V or SVM Mode.
- Enable the virtualization setting.
- Save and exit (F10 or select "Save & Exit" in BIOS menu).
Your BIOS screen has three main tabs: Main, Security, and Advanced. To enable virtualization, follow these steps:

Navigate to the "Advanced" tab
- Use the arrow keys to move to the Advanced section.

Look for Virtualization Options
- The setting might be labeled as:
- Intel VT-x, Intel Virtualization Technology (for Intel processors)
- AMD-V, SVM Mode (for AMD processors)
- If found, Enable it.

Save Changes and Exit
- Use the Save Changes and Exit option in the Main menu or press F10 to save changes.
